GlowInto X “Linx Permanent Jewelry” with Cheri Wuertz of My Two Cents Of Style

I'll admit it—I wasn't sure permanent jewelry was for me.

I'm someone who likes to switch up my jewelry looks. I don't wear the same pieces every day, and I love mixing metals and changing accessories with my mood or outfit.

But after trying permanent jewelry for myself, I have to say: I didn't know I was going to love it.

I've enjoyed layering my pieces with the jewelry I already own, and I've grown to love silver and gold tones together. I also chose a bracelet and an anklet, which feels perfect heading into summer.

That experience led me to sit down with Cheri Wuertz of My Two Cents Of Style to learn more about the growing popularity of permanent jewelry and why the brand, Permalinx, has resonated with so many women.

A Sister Brand That Became a Major Part of the Business

Cheri added Permalinx permanent jewelry as a sister brand to the already established jBloom brand about four years ago.

"Permanent jewelry was really new in the accessory industry, so we were one of the first to roll out the concept on a national level," she explains.

Already affiliated with jBloom, Cheri was selected as part of a pilot program where senior leaders tested the concept for four months before introducing it to representatives nationwide.

Fast forward to today, and permanent jewelry has become the largest segment of the brand family, representing more than 80 percent of jewelry sold.

What makes Permalinx unique is its simple, non-welded, portable system and it can be worn in the pool, while working out, showering or the beach.

Unlike traditional permanent jewelry that requires welding, the Permalinx system allows pieces to be removed and reattached when necessary, such as before medical procedures.

"It's easy, convenient, and customizable," Cheri says.

Learning the Craft

Since permanent jewelry is installed directly on clients, I was curious whether Cheri had prior experience working with jewelry tools.

The answer?

"Zero," she laughs.

"I had zero knowledge of how to use jewelry tools before being introduced to our system."

The company provides all of the necessary tools and free training as part of its starter collection, making it accessible for new stylists who want to build a business of their own.

And for women interested in starting a side business or pursuing a new venture, Cheri doesn't just sell the product—she personally coaches and mentors new representatives through the startup process.

Jewelry That Fits Your Life

One of the things Cheri hears most from clients is how much they appreciate the custom sizing and flexibility.

Because the system is portable and non-welded, women can enjoy the look and convenience of permanent jewelry while still having the option to remove and reattach pieces when needed.

And personalization remains a huge draw.

Her most popular Permalinx bracelet styles include the Cross, Chic, Bar, and Charlotte chains, along with the smaller bangles.

Anklets are especially popular during sandal season, and personalized charms continue to be a favorite for women wanting to add meaning to their jewelry.

From her catalog collection, customers gravitate toward the Lux bangle, Clove earrings, Sparkle Heart necklace, and pieces that offer custom personalization.

More Than Jewelry—A Way to Mark the Moments

Looking through Cheri's collections, I found myself thinking less about jewelry and more about what these pieces represent.

A bracelet shared between friends.

An anklet for a season of confidence.

A necklace layered with pieces you've collected over the years.

A charm that reminds you of someone you love.

Permanent jewelry isn't necessarily about making a statement to everyone else.

Sometimes it's about carrying a small reminder of who you are and where you've been.

That's what surprised me the most.

I didn't expect to love it.

But I do.

What Would You Choose?

If you were picking your first piece, what would it be?

A layered necklace you'll wear every day?

A bracelet to celebrate a friendship or milestone?

An anklet for summer adventures?

A charm that tells your story?

Browse Cheri's collections and you may find yourself surprised by which piece speaks to you.

Sometimes style evolves one small detail at a time.

Summer Trends: Color, Charms, and Vacation Vibes

As for what's trending this season in jbloom?

Cheri says to look for bauble bead necklaces and accessories featuring pops of color.

Beach charms, colorful earrings, and anything vacation or resort inspired are making a statement this spring and summer.
