I Tried Dollar Tree Skincare Dupes for 3 Weeks—Here’s What Actually Happened

As someone who loves finding affordable beauty products, I had to see for myself.
Instead of buying everything on the shelf and calling it a “dupe,” I decided to actually test a few products. Over the course of three weeks, I used them consistently to see how my skin responded before sharing my honest thoughts with you.

One of Dollar Tree’s newest skincare products is the B.Pure Glow Revitalizing Serum, which immediately caught my attention because of its resemblance to Glow Recipe’s Blackberry Retinol Blemish Serum.
Although the formulas are different, I wanted to see if this affordable serum could earn a place in my skincare routine.

I used this serum every day for three weeks, applying it after cleansing and before my moisturizer.
I was pleasantly surprised.
By the end of the three weeks, my skin felt noticeably softer and more hydrated. The serum absorbed quickly, didn’t leave a sticky residue, and layered beautifully under my moisturizer and makeup.
Would I compare the results to a $45 retinol serum? No. Since this product doesn’t contain retinol, I wouldn’t expect it to provide the same anti-aging or blemish-fighting benefits.

The second product I tested was the Dermasil Labs AHA Glycolic Acid Toning Solution.
This toner contains glycolic acid, witch hazel, and rose water, ingredients commonly found in higher-end skincare. Many beauty lovers compare it to The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner, although The Ordinary contains a stronger concentration of glycolic acid.
My Honest Review
I used this toner every day for three weeks after cleansing and before applying my moisturizer.
I honestly loved it.
After using it consistently, I noticed my skin felt cleaner, smoother, and much fresher. Every time I used it, it seemed to remove leftover impurities that my cleanser had missed. My skin looked brighter, felt refreshed, and my moisturizer absorbed beautifully afterward.
For just $1.25, I was genuinely impressed. This is one of those products that proves you don’t always have to spend a fortune to find something that works well.

The third product I tested was the Dermasil Anti-Baggage Jet-Set-Reset Overnight Eye Serum.
This overnight eye serum is designed to brighten and de-puff tired eyes, and many beauty enthusiasts compare it to the Dieux Auracle Peptide & Antioxidant Eye Gel.
My Honest Review
I added this eye serum to my nightly skincare routine for three weeks, applying it after cleansing and before my moisturizer.
I was genuinely impressed.
By the end of the three weeks, my under-eye area felt more hydrated, smoother, and looked less tired each morning. The serum absorbed quickly, wasn’t greasy, and layered well with the rest of my skincare routine.
I’ve also used Dieux Auracle Peptide & Antioxidant Eye Gel, and honestly, I felt this Dollar Tree serum worked just as well for me. While the formulas aren’t identical, I couldn’t tell enough of a difference to justify spending $44 when this $1.25 product gave me results I was happy with.

Are these exact duplicates of the higher-end products? No.

Sometimes affordable skincare really does surprise you. While I still believe there is a place for premium skincare, these products proved that you don’t always have to spend a fortune to take good care of your skin.
All three have earned a spot in my skincare routine, and I’d happily recommend giving them a try if you spot them at your local Dollar Tree.
