August has been a month of momentum.

I feel like I’ve been moving at a pretty fast pace with GlowInto this month—but I have to admit, I love every minute of it.

So far in August, I’ve sat down with five women for interviews, with a sixth still to come. While I typically publish about three full interview stories each month, those conversations are creating a growing collection of stories, ideas and future features that I can’t wait to share.

One thing I’ve learned is that GlowInto seems to grow with every woman I meet. One conversation leads to another. A topic comes up that deserves more attention. Someone introduces me to a woman I need to know. And the four pillars of GlowInto continue to take shape as more women bring their experiences and expertise into the mix.

There is still more to come in August, including the beginning of a look at some of the women behind our Main Street businesses. I want to go beyond the storefront and introduce you to the women, ideas and stories that helped build the businesses we see in our communities every day.

August also brought one of the biggest additions to GlowInto so far—the launch of the GlowInto podcast.

The podcast gives me a new way to tell these stories. I’m retelling them in my own words, so now you can take GlowInto with you—while you're driving, getting ready for the day, winding down before bed or maybe heading out on one last summer trip. I love knowing these women's stories can now be read or heard.

I'm also continuing to grow the contributor side of GlowInto, creating more opportunities for women to share their knowledge and expertise within our four pillars. The interviews will always be at the heart of what I do, but I'm realizing that GlowInto can be a place for many different kinds of women's voices.

And I'm already looking ahead to September.

I'll be beginning a new series exploring the evolving style of Gen X women—what we're wearing now, how our relationship with style changes as we get older, and the women over 40 and 50 who are showing up on social media and giving us a whole new kind of style inspiration.

There are more stories coming, more voices joining the conversation, and quite honestly, more ideas in my head than I have time to get onto the page.

But maybe that's what August has taught me.

GlowInto is growing into something right alongside the women whose stories I'm telling.

And I’m excited to see where we go next.

What’s Still Coming in August

August isn’t over yet, and we still have plenty coming to GlowInto!

Heather from Premier U will be back to give us more insight into GLP-1 options—what women should know, how they work, and some of the questions worth asking when considering whether this option might be right for you.

Karlyn Slaydon of KS Signature is giving us a first look at what’s coming for fall style. We’ll talk about what we’re seeing for the new season and how women can incorporate those trends while still dressing in a way that feels like themselves.

We’re also welcoming a new voice to Inside the Workplace. Latonya Duncan, founder of Latonya Renee Consulting, works with established women entrepreneurs to simplify and streamline the behind-the-scenes of their businesses. She’ll be bringing practical insight to GlowInto about creating better systems, working smarter and growing a business without creating more chaos in the process.

And Amanda Swaim is heading back to Dollar Tree for another makeup haul! She’ll be trying the finds so we don’t have to—sharing what’s actually worth adding to your makeup bag and what you can leave on the shelf.

There’s still a lot of August left—and a lot more to GlowInto.

September is already shaping up to bring three very different stories to GlowInto.

✨Sarah Herzing will share a story filled with resilience, independence and the many roles that have shaped the woman she is today—from becoming a mother at a young age to building a career, giving back to animal rescue and continuing to find new opportunities for herself.

✨Rebecca Willmann of Whole Body Physical Therapy will take us through her journey from longtime physical therapist to entrepreneur. We’ll talk about movement, healthy aging, building a business around her own philosophy of care—and why she says her 40s have become such a happy chapter of her life.

✨Christine Blanquart of Blanquart’s Vintage Market, bringing another woman-owned business and a new story of entrepreneurship into the GlowInto mix.

Three women. Three very different paths. And three more stories I’m looking forward to sharing with you in September.

One of my favorite parts of building GlowInto is seeing where one conversation leads me next. Lately, I’ve been paying much more attention to the questions and ideas that keep coming up after the interviews are over.

Women’s health in midlife is one of them. I’ll soon be meeting with several women to talk about a possible podcast conversation centered around perimenopause and what women are actually experiencing during these years. Hormones, weight, sleep, energy, changing bodies and the things we sometimes don’t realize are connected—I’m interested in hearing women talk openly about what they wish they had known before entering this stage of life.

Something else has surprised me. GlowInto began with a strong focus on women over 40, but some of the conversations I’m becoming most curious about are with women further down the road. I’ve already learned so much from women in their 60s, and now I’m hearing from more women in their 70s who want to share their stories. It has me thinking about what life looks like at 70 today. What are these women still building? What have they stopped worrying about? What do they know now that they wish they had understood at 40 or 50?
