April Reflections from GlowInto

April is unfolding with stories of reinvention, reflection, and the kind of growth that often arrives in midlife when life begins to look different than we once imagined. This month, I had the chance to reconnect with Christine Boos, someone I graduated high school with 32 years ago, and hear the story of what life looks like for her now. Her interview is one of love, family, and new beginnings—building a bridal store business with her daughter, embracing life as a grandmother, and stepping fully into the life she deserves. It’s a meaningful look at what can happen when women keep evolving instead of staying where they began.

This month also marks an exciting expansion for GlowInto with new contributing content on the Longevity page. We’re beginning to take a deeper look at hormones and the role they play in midlife, while also opening the door to broader conversations around wellness, energy, strength, and the changes women experience during this season of life. I’m proud to introduce Doreen Warfield, co-owner of Studio Strong in O’Fallon, Illinois, as our first contributor in this space. As she approaches 50 and works closely with women in midlife through personal training, Doreen brings valuable perspective on the physical changes she sees and the strength women can continue building through them.

I’m also excited to welcome contributing writers from Premier U (Modern or lifestyle medicine that is a synergistic combination of hormone replacement, medical weight loss, regenerative/functional medicine)in Swansea, Illinois. Heather and Jordan will be sharing monthly content centered on hormones, wellness, and the deeper layers of testing and insight they see in their work with women in midlife—often going beyond what basic testing in a traditional doctor’s office reveals. Alongside these new wellness conversations, we’ll continue our style features with KS Signature, bringing thoughtful tips and perspective on dressing for the life and body you have now.
